Ryan, a Mercer Law Graduate, had a lifetime of experiences before attending law school. In 2008, Ryan founded Lionize Public Relations. Lionize provided public relations, branding, logistics, on-site activations, and consultations to the hospitality, consumer products, spirits, and lifestyle brands. 

In 2014, Ryan was hired by the Florida Department of Transportation to be a liaison between the private and public sectors to prioritize infrastructure for commercial freight movement. This included working with stakeholders across the space, railroad, trucking, air, seaport, and government sectors.

In 2017, Ryan began law school and in 2020 graduated from Mercer Law School. While in law school Ryan worked for Bibb County Superior Court Judge Raymond Phillips, Bibb County State Court Judge Scott Hanson, Chatham County District Attorney’s Office, and Bibb County Solicitor’s Office. After graduation Ryan clerked for Conasauga Circuit Superior Court Judge Scott Minter, worked in the Civil Rights and Commercial Transactions sections of the Georgia Office of the Attorney General as an Assistant Attorney General, and as an Assistant Public Defender in the Ocmulgee Circuit.

In 2024, Ryan began Ryan Marks Law as a way to bring exceptional legal services to Northeast Georgia. Ryan understands what it is like to be in your shoes. Chances are he’s been there.
