Ryan, a Mercer Law Graduate, had a lifetime of experiences before attending law school. In 2008, Ryan founded Lionize Public Relations. Lionize provided public relations, branding, logistics, on-site activations, and consultations to hospitality, consumer products, spirits, and lifestyle brands. 

In 2014, Ryan joined the Florida Department of Transportation to be a consensus-building liaison between private and public sector stakeholders to prioritize infrastructure planning, construction, and maintenance. This included working with stakeholders across the aerospace, railroad, trucking, air, seaport, and government sectors.

In 2020 graduated from Mercer Law School. During law school Ryan worked for Bibb County Superior Court Judge Raymond Phillips, Bibb County State Court Chief Judge Scott Hanson, the Chatham County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bibb County Solicitor General’s Office. After graduation Ryan clerked for Conasauga Circuit Superior Court Judge M. Scott Minter, was an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights and Commercial Transactions sections of the Georgia Office of the Attorney General, followed by an Assistant Public Defender in the Ocmulgee Circuit.

In 2024, Ryan began Ryan Marks Law as a way to bring exceptional legal services to Northeast Georgia. Ryan understands what it is like to be in your shoes. Chances are he’s been there.
